We start university-accredited blockchain courses, host weekly events, connect researchers, introduce founders to investors, and place people at jobs. Our vision is to create an incentive-aligned, automated, and tax-exempt nonprofit that scales blockchain education, development, and adoption around the world.

The Club Acceleration Program is a pilot program introducing clubs to BAF Club Network, a support system for student organizations to achieve their goals and build long-term projects in Web 3.

What makes a BAF Club Partner?

No matter the size or experience of your organization, you have an amazing place for untapped talent. We provide clubs with funding, support, and guidance. We help clubs establish financial infrastructure though our Fiscal sponsorship program. As a BAF Club Partner, your sponsors can receive a tax deduction on the donations they offer you.

CLUB PARTNERSHIP DESCRIPTION

University clubs in collaboration with the Blockchain Acceleration Foundation (BAF) will actively engage in the BAF Club Network, a support system for student organizations to achieve their goals and build long-term projects in Web 3.

The duties and responsibilities of BAF and of our Club Partners are outlined below. Each Club Partner should be conversant and compliant with the contents listed to make the best out of this partnership.

Most fundamentally, each Club Partner has a duty of loyalty and a duty of care. The following provisions list many of the specific responsibilities and actions required to meet those duties, and effectively operate within the BAF Club Network.

I. BAF NETWORK SUPPORT

A. Education

  1. Coordinate cross-club projects and educational initiatives
  2. Design and launch accredited courses at universities in collaboration with professors, students and faculty members

B. Events and socials

  1. Collaborate with clubs and handle logistics and marketing to host event
  2. Organize club retreats, hacker houses, parties, and summer camps
  3. Source sponsorships, opportunities, speakers, and support for club initiatives

C. Networking

  1. Provide career development, mentorship, referrals, and job fairs
  2. Scale club projects and startups

D. Funding

  1. Offer free tickets, travel and housing scholarships to events and conferences
  2. Provide funding for club activities and socials (< $500)
  3. Help clubs establish financial infrastructure and process crypto donations through the BAF Fiscal Sponsorship program - donations to BAF Club Partners are tax deductible contributions
  4. Onboard clubs as fiscal sponsees to receive the 501c3 status if they meet the requirements

II. RESPONSIBILITIES OF CLUB PARTNERS

A.   Internal Communications

  1. Share the club’s roadmap and updates with the BAF Community Manager
  2. Be informed about BAF’s Mission, Vision, and programs
  3. Create clear proposals if interested in funding (for socials and internal activities)
  4. Invite the BAF community manager to the club channel (Telegram or Discord)
  5. Participate in AT LEAST one Blockchain club’s fireside chat
  6. Avoid involvement in all political campaigns in the name of BAF
  7. Suggest possible nominees from the club for the BAF Board, who can make significant contributions to the governance of the organization.

B. MARKETING

  1. Communicate major updates, conferences, free tickets and initiatives to all club members to ensure accessibility of BAF opportunities
  2. Promote major BAF events on the club’s social media platforms
  3. Include the BAF logo on flyers and branding content as an official partner
